Let's wait. Actually there on the Democrats side are two among other possibilities:

Hillary Clinton will become the first woman president

or

Barack Obama will become the first ever black president


How about the Republicans?

Obama/Clinton? Don't know if this macho country is ready for a female president. Look how so much of the campaign that just ended was focused on feminizing Kerry.

At least we don't have the repulsive Theresa as first lady, bleh..

If the Dems learned anything from the Dukakis, Gore, and Kerry debacles they will not run another wild eyed liberal like Hillary.

They need to find another politician like Clinton, who may have liberal leanings but has the good sense to keep them to himself and govern as near to the center as possible while still maintaining the support of the predominantly liberal Dem party.

Tough challenge. But that is what it is going to take if they ever want the WH and control of Congress again.

2. She will go down in flames even worse then Kerry, and will take many of the few seats in congress that the Dems will still hold by then.

Talk about being way out of the mainstream. Hillary, if the Dems have any wisdom in rebuilding their party, will not get within a stone's throw of the nomination.
