Rushed out & got one! Laughing (well, an Oz version, anyway...)
Unsolicited opinion: Wow! Someone invented this for me in mind, I'm certain! Wonderful to actually COLLECT the cats' fur instead of moving it around, to settle elsewhere. Very Happy
Perhaps I should do an advertisement for them?: "How the Swiffer transformed my life!" Laughing

isn't it the truth - invented to collect pet hair. amazing.
now if they'd make a clothing-oriented swiffer, cuz those gluey and velcroey brushes just don't do it when the dogs have been trying on my clothes - that is what they do all day, isn't it?

I went out and got the wet bits for the swiffer - wow oh wow! I loved the dry version - cleaning the kitchen floor was amazingly fast and effective. Mrs. Hamburger also vouches for it.

I was thinking that my use of the Swiffer Wet mop would, over time, leave a residue build up on the floor that would need to be removed with another type cleaner.

I contacted the folks at Swiffer, and they assured me that the wet type, leaves nothing that would "build up".

In case anyone else had that same thought.

Phoenix

I think I met you about 100 years ago........in another life?

As Mark Twain once said:

"When I was young, I could remember everything.....whether they happened or not.

Now that I'm old, the only things that I remember are the things that never happened".

Anyway, I think it was you.

Swiffer Dusters are fantastic. You can get all the dust with one swipe. It is perfect for the computer area and the entertainment area. I am so impressed will never use anything else to dust again

Waiting for an OK to use Swiffer Wet on hardwoods. I know they say you can but I'm just too afraid of ruining my beautiful floors. Dyslexia, you were supposed to check back in and let us know...

I've tried using the wet Swiffer cloths on my 'good' furniture. Looks and feels just fine.

swiffer mop
i really like my swiffer mop. With three dogs and three children, four, five and six it is fast, convienent and picks up all that dirt. However, I just heard that it is being recalled. Seems there was a home burned down in Florida and the source was traced to the siffer mop. I have stopped using mine for now. I have the new electric one.
