I'm tempted to buy the swiffer mop, has anyone tried it and can you tell me what you think of it?

First, great avatar for a great nic-name! Second, welcome to a2k!

And third, the swiffer is amazing, but do you really need your place THAT clean?

Love my swiffer - i've got the dry version. Definitely does a good job on collecting dog hair among other lovely things.

and another vote for a super avatar/name match. Welcome.

Now pick up your mop and get to work!

I just wish it had more ability to carry more fur without dropping it! Great for the pet-inflicted.

Welcome, oh airy one.

Thanks for the welcome. I never met any people who liked my nick so much. About the swiffer, does it work any better than a normal mop? I thought it was a gimmick.

I have the Swiffer Dry, and the wet, but I bought the Clorox version with the bottle. It is great on tile floors. Once in awhile I like to go at it with a mop and bucket, but between times, it's great!

I don't find regular mops work well at all in pet-hair infested locations. I don't know why those things work so well, but i do notice they're 1. easy to use, 2. easy to maintain, and 3. they work!

I have not yet tried the Swiffer mop. However, my dusting chores have never been easier than when I use a Swiffer as a dust cloth.

As has been written here already, it makes a dandy floor cleaner that attracts pet hair, dirt, crumbs, and just about everything else that isn't permanently attached.

Swiffer is far superior to its Grab-it competitor.

I love it love it love it. It works and it's fun. I have a toddler who thinks it is hilarious to say that she is "feeding the ducks" and toss pieces of cereal, so I use it a lot. Probably what I like it best for is quick clean up; rather than hands-and-knees scrubbing or the whole mop-and-pail mess, just grab it, done in 2 minutes.

Welcome, Thunderbutt!
