Hard Choice for the most important USA Elections in History :
Give GWBush a real chance to become wiser ?

2004 US Presidential Elections may have the most important impact in History :

Not for usual Politics, but for American People, the Nation, and International Community (including relations with Europe and other parts of the World), even for Humankind.

- Never before 9/11, simple People had been so atrociously targetted, trapped and hit by deadly barbary, while most of real Criminals and their accomplices still remain unknown and unpunished, (a few scape-goats paying a heavy price, instead).

- Never before the proud and free "New World" of the American dream of Liberty, of Mayflair refugees and pioneers, Historic Founding Values, was put at such crucial and hard "Tests", (with a Worldwide impact, because of USA's international responsibilities since WW2).

- Never before, even the very base of Humankind's unity and potential : from Genetics to Human Embryon and beyond, ever depended so much from the outcome of US Elections.

But, also, never before, have we seen, in memorable modern History, such a long series of brutal Upheavals, including Barbaries or other deadly, destructive incidents (from 9/11 to Iraq or Columbia, etc), suddenly Disrupting Decision-making at various crucial Dates, followed by grotesque Media campaigns,
among sly Manipulation pushing to Traps, in order to exploit them afterwards (particularly at 2004 presidential Elections).

In practice, it's as if President GWBush (after Clinton of the latest years, in other ways) had been practically Hindered to pursue his term in normal conditions :

Recession and Stock Market bubble bursted out only a few months before entering in office (at the end of Clinton era). US People were hit in a few months by 11 September 2001 Barbary, which didn't yet disclose all its secrets. Immediately followed by events pushing towards 2 exhausting Wars, Afghanistan and Iraq in 2002 and 2003. (The latest being an example of a Banana-skin to fall into a Trap : False or misleading Infos on WMD, most given by some in a Foreign Government : UK Labour allies of DP. Blockades of Peaceful Oil-gas exploitation at the Antarctic, Alaska, even Latin America. Sudden "disappearance" of Iraqi regime and army, followed by a "prepared" Guerilla, which sometimes seems "less willing to liberate its country than to put President Bush in difficulty at 2004 Elections", as Russian President Putin recently said). Brutally Interrupted, early 2004, by the strange, unprecedented Columbia Shuttle destruction, (which disrupted not only Space, but also Senate's schedule on Cloning, etc). Even exceptional climat upheavals (strange Fires, Hurricanes, etc) appeared in 2004 all out of a sudden, striking against certain key-Symbols : i.e. California, after Governor Election of Swartzeneger (who became famous in films about Human Values' struggling against abusive Robot-makers), or Florida, for Presidential 2000 and 2004 Elections. An incredible "disappearance" of 400 tons of explosives at Iraq, suddenly pops-up to be exploited by some Media before US Elections, while it's not sure that it ever existed ! Even Reeves (already too much exploited by big Companies which never showed any Medical Progress after Millions $ spend to fight Cancer without any result), curiously, was let to die at the run-up to Elections, and abused to push for controversial and dangerous Tests on Human Embryon. Last but not least, ..Bin Laden's "ghost" suddenly re-appeared at the eve of 2004 US Elections, exploited by some Media as an electoral agent ...

=> It all looks as if "something", behind and beyond Political Institutions, (mainly between 1998 and 2004) strived to het hold of the American Political System, and turn it in the way "it" wanted, moved by some dark, secret interests.

It hit hard American People first. Afterwards some Poor countries. But also certain other people at the US, Europe and around the World. Followed by abusive Media manipulation. It repeatedly disrupted US Senate and Congress decision-making at key-Dates on issues of crucial importance for Humankind.

- In the Debates for 2004 Elections, President GWBush made interesting claims particularly on Education (as his main reply to Social issues, focusing on "21th century" skills, via +49% increase, raising standards, etc), Security, Generic Drugs or Seniors' Medicare (to make Health less expensive), Family values, Faith, BioEthics, etc., and tried to react strongly against Torture denunciation (inspired by "humilation techniques" elaborated by some Foreign authorities in the UK), and start bringing Tortioners into Justice.

But : will it be followed by the right acts and deeds ?
Will he reshuffle his Administration from some wrong-doers and rectify any errors it was pushed to make by brutal events which disrupted his previous mandate ?

GWBush spoke about leadership in foreign policy, but has yet to demonstrate US full independence in relation to some undemocratic regimes at certain regions of the world.

- Senator Kerry's main interesting claims focused particularly on Jobs (against "companies going overseas", etc) and Minimum Wage, Health Care (even if too vague), Genetic research, better relations with other countries, etc. He added points on "moderate Muslims" around the world, etc.

But : does it mean anything better than the infamous "working-Poor" pseudo-"jobs", lowering People and Economy, which notoriously spread during the 2nd Clinton mandate in the Past ?

Ameliorate relations with other countries is a real objective, or only a subterfuge to exploit an opportunist Zig-zag without credibility on Iraq ? (First accepting to push for War, endorsing and voting for it, only to exploit its problems afterwards)...

How to conciliate the "better relations" bid with harsher words about other countries as Russia, China, Iran, or even with the search of ways to sent troops at Sudan, (etc.) ?

And why this strange insistence on Tests for Human Embryon etc. ? Humankind stands at an Historic crossroads in technologic developments, which requires to be Careful. Science should be supported, for the general interest of Society, but not abused by some : Humankind cannot afford more and worse Risks from other "Dr Frankenstein", Nazi "Dr Mengele", Huxley's "Brave New World", or Wells "Dr Moreau's island", (etc), irresponsibly playing with fabricated Monsters, or any apartheid, in fact Dangerous not only for Human Values, but also for all involved, at the end of the road.

+ There also were some Surprises, in comparison with classic "liberal-conservatives" debates :

- GWBush criticized "entrenched special interests" in Wash.DC pushing their way by paying Senators or Congressmen, promised a "Card" to foreign workers, focused on Education, etc.

- While Kerry insisted on more spying (repeatedly underlying "intelligence" activities), borders' control, etc.

Apparently, no big differencies in the substance of most issues
(according to 3 Debates' transcripts) :

- Kerry accepted Iraq war, but said, afterwards, that Bush should have done it in a different way, seeking a broader coalition.

- On Civil Rights, Kerry agrees with Bush's restrictive bills after 9/11, and only said that they should be "applied" in a (somewhat) different way.

- Big fuss against GWBush's Tax-cuts and about a Kerry's Health Care plan, that Bush calls "Empty promise", because he says that funds lack.

- On social issues, Kerry focused on "Jobs" and Minimum Wage, while Bush on Education.

- On Family, Bush defends traditional values, with "tolerance and respect" for other choices, while Kerry agreed, but added "partnership" rights of homosexuals.

- No clear opposition lines on Environment or Science/Technology (where GWBush appeared citing more concrete points).

- The only clear-cut difference emerged on Human Embryonic Stem cells, and BioEthics in general : GWBush, while claiming to be "the 1st President who funded stem-cell research", appears unwilling to destroy Life, and stresses the need to "balance Science and Ethics" in general. On the contrary, Kerry appears to push to "open-up" Tests on Human Embryons, without clear safeguards.

Strange fact, that the greatest gap of differences separating the two main candidates to 2004 US Presidential Elections appears to be on that point...

But between what can be really Healthy in America and Conscious of its responsibilities in front of the People, the Nation's History, and the World, even Humankind.

It's as if some undemocratic elements infiltrated and abused of GWBush's presidency, leading him and the US at sly traps, monitored, in fact, from somewhere out of American political institutions (including, partly, some Foreign government circles).

But it appears also obvious that some (probably monitored from the same "outside" group, behind the curtains), focused on exploiting what had been slyly provoked, without credibility after so many zig-zags in their own positions and grotesque Media abuses, lacking of any clear alternative policy.

It looks as if some manipulated elements pushing to extremes inside President GWBush's Administration .."collaborated" in fact with some manipulating elements around Senator Kelly's team, eager to exploit a sly trap at Iraq and "self-fullfiling prophecies", (ie Ben Laden's electoral Video, "explosives" said gone "missing" at Iraq on October, etc. both AFTER such points were raised on September's debate)..

Therefore, it's Important that really Honest and politically Healthy elements, conscious of US Responsibilities, inside or around both Presidential Candidates' teams and well beyond them (f.ex. from liberal Nader to some Christian "conservatives", etc), help safeguard the People, the Country, the World and Humankind from any misleading, grave errors.

For a new (and hopefully more Peaceful) mandate for President GWBush to be really successful and well-doing for American People and US World-wide, Historic Responsibilities, it should go together with important changes in staff and policies :

- Less war-mongering sly traps ; be more careful on false-misleading accusations ; rectify wrongs done to some people ; diminish any negative influence of those who pushed into slippery slopes of abusive excesses (be it on wars or civil rights and democracy) ; fulfill his engagements on protecting Humans from any kind of Cloning or risks of Genetic Manipulations ; try to build better understanding for US in Europe and throughout the World.

=> Isn't it better to give this time a Real Chance to President GWBush to assume exceptionally heavy responsibilities, hopefully made Wiser by what happened until now ?

At least, Senator Kerry would have been useful into pointing out some of the issues : The need to do more on Work, Health Care and better relations with other countries.

Otherwise : Better vote (without illusions) for Ralph Nader, go fishing, or ...emigrate to Planet Mars !

(Questions raised, and critical views expressed here, don't mean that people shouldn't seek to cooperate well with whoever might be elected by the American People :

Whoever will be the next US President will have to be respected and given a real chance to prove that his policies can do more good, than harm.

But elementary Wisdom and historic Responsibilities imply that he will become able to rectify errors, careful to avoid manipulation or traps, and clear-sighted enough to start looking forward.

Otherwise, history teaches that if anyone fails to assume with wisdom such exceptionally heavy responsibilities, this might back-fire in national and world politics, sooner than usually thought).
