hell is...
Hell is not on earth. You may think you have experienced something like hell, on earth, but it is not as bad as what you would face in the fires of said location. Things may seem bad, but they could get much worse, until you die, you will never know what hell is, and even then, you may not, being good enough to go to heaven.

And exactly how would you know this?

I'm with Montana - I don't think about death any more either. I used to, and it frightened me, but over time I realized it wasn't worth worrying about. I live one day at a time and I always try to focus on what's beautiful in life.

What is hell? The source of all evil?

Hell's the shadow of a soul on fire
Cast on the darkness into which ourselves
So late emerged from shall so soon expire.

Look at a star such as the sun. There is hell at its finest one can say. But it isnt hell unless you, in some form, go inside of it to remain there.

In my book hell is within an eternal essence in the soul of some (gotten there by luck or choice. If choice then at some point before human birth). When the time comes for that soul to manifest into a better (newer) version of its (aligned with its) essence one can expect that soul to go into a better version of hell (in such the case it will be the worst version because what represents hell can be evil, chaos, and desolation in some kind of living being form).

Think of the essence as the ultimate will of the soul and its ultimate eternal desire.

If there is one rule of existence unto seperate decision rule of existence then one can imagine that a particular essence has an eternal rule about it. For a soul to choose the particular essense is like that soul signing over it's ultimate fate in how that soul will wind up in function unto the essence because that soul will hail the particular essence (as if it is locked to) as if on its axis.

Anyhow, paradise and hell are already determined to some grand extent. Nothing you can do now in this form of living can determine life after death for your soul.

I'm sure whatever has the greater authority over all wouldnt have you determine a thing from here for your after life because of all the lies and influences that would be and are. Here in the now we've got some influnced by religion to where it's considered a sin or not traditional to have more than one mate. So if you were allowed from here to decide your after life, in an unaware state, it would have you f'ed up in the after life when you got to it (and even there you prolly wouldnt even know it).

Nice rhyme.

Is there any reason whatsoever to believe in hell?

Sure is. Hell is in your mind. Like paradise. Why not believe in ideas? I have an idea of unicorns. I believe I have that idea.
Of course I dont believe in the physical existence of unicorns but that is another question.

Okay. But is there any reason to believe that hell exists in the external world, as we believe that trees exist in the external world?
