I think a good idea would be to start working on the development of a viable third party for 2008 on Nov 3.....
On a sour-serious note. If Kerry should win he'll be in a lose-lose situation...I would venture to say the chances of a second run are nil-nil.
it depends on what he accomplishes.....if he can convince people that he cannot undo what's been done in one term and at the same time show genuine positive progress he might have a shot......that's unfortunately more of a condemnation of our shallow ADD society than Kerry......

I will be too busy sighing with relief if Kerry wins that I won't have time to gloat.
But I will mellow out quickly and throw a party. Cavfancier will cater the food and drink, Bi-Polar Bear will provide the musical entertainment, and Gus will be the bouncer to assure that the attendees will be of the lowest possible social status so we can have some fun.
BBB
I want an invite, BB.
I ain't gonna gloat...but I am able to party and fall on my face with the best of 'em.

But in the real world, you are damn right I will gloat. Every single pea-brained Bush backer will receive my taunts.
And if Bush wins? Then the country will continue its journey into the darkness. And I'll head to Canada.
I'm out of matches.
Say hello to all the Hosers for us gus.
Frank
Frank, I will slip Gus a fin to get you in the door.

Nah, nimh.
I think gloating is gross.
I wonder if we all have the same definition of gloating...
Some will think any positive remark about their guy winning is gloating.
I think gloating is an unsoliticited nyeh-nyeh...You lost, you big loser! What are you gonna do now...kinda thing.
Distasteful in the extreme. I don't subscribe to the practice.
Well I'm a
childish dick and I'm going to enjoy gloating if Kerry becomes president....but I don't think he is...
Main Entry: [1]gloat
Pronunciation: 'glOt
Function: intransitive verb
Etymology: probably of Scandinavian origin; akin to Old
2: to observe or think about something with triumphant and often malicious satisfaction, gratification, or delight <gloat over an enemy's misfortune>
Gloat is among my top ten least favorite words as well, Lash.
Although "nuance" tops the list. I've never liked that word in any context.
as near as I can understand it....democrats gloat.....republicans are merely smug......another lovely word and character trait.....
No matter the definition or understood definition of the word, I will GLOAT and GLOAT and GLOAT!!!
I may not stop GLOATING for a very long time!!!
Can I go ahead and start now?
Anyone mind?
Possibly premature.
I think gloating requires a victory,...but I won't stand in your way.

but not smugness....
PS lash did you miss me while I was gone? I thought of you every day....
I DID miss you! I didna know if I would ever have the chance to argue vehemently with you again!!!
Was quite pleased to see your impossibly mistaken ranting upon your return!
Please behave. Your absence would exact quite a thud on my enjoyment here.

What impossibly mistaken ranting? Seriously?
Oh my dear. Just pick any political post...

hmph...since my return I have been the picture of civility...humbled...contrite....a changed bear.....
Kidding about your views, not your delivery.
You were always lovely.
(Of course, I'm biased(...(likes bears)
