Generic statement?

I just want to know if this paragraph is too generic.

Racism is seen as a tabloid subject and is frowned upon when one exerts said racist remarks onto another, and although some people are not overt with expressing their hatred, this can sometimes come off as a passive aggressive attitude. This is in turn what internal racism is, that seething hate people has over another race believing that they, themselves are somehow superior.

Are the statements in my paragraph is generic and or too much of a generalization?
