And a Merry Christmas to you! We may just let you sweep us this year for a Christmas present, (since the outcome doesn't matter). Sweeping is fun! (Though Detroit and Minnesota might not see it that way ).

Reggie??!!

He was 43!

How awful.

I was just thinking of him earlier today, was trying to get whatever info I could about the game (didn't see it, no power, long story told elsewhere) and was reading about Al Harris and thinking how great it is to have a real defensive leader again, thinking about Reggie and how instrumental he was to the Super Bowl win.

Dead??

Wasn't Reggie White a huge biggot? If I remember correctly yes. If my memory is indeed correct, today was a sadless, careless, and mournless day.

Back off Child... he only seemed bigoted. And, that, only against homosexuality... because he believed they were sick. His heart was in the right place. Furthermore, he renounced all his previous believes (even the part about God telling him to win a Superbowl for the Packers)(thankfully, he had already done it ) before he died. At the end of his life, he had lost faith in the teachings of the New Testament and was spending most of his day studying Latin so he could read the older versions. In the last interview I saw of him (VERY recent), he apologized more or less for all of his extreme statements of the past and said he no longer believed God told him to say all that stuff.

He remains; the single greatest Defensive End who ever played the game.
Now let him RIP!

Don't you think this statement could have been left out of your defense of the Minister of Defense?

Reggie White being a moron and being a good football player are inseperable.

As with all bigots and morons and athletes and fans and everyone else. Rolling Eyes

I must be a moron, too. I read that 3 times (make that 4) and don't know how the latter two paragraphs tie in to the first... let alone justify the rollers? Confused

On a roll! Just need to keep smiling through 4 more games!

Favre played the first quarter and one series in the second, going 9-of-13 for 196 yards and two touchdowns as the Packers beat the hated Bears for the 11th straight time at their house! Them paybacks are a b!tch! Cool

Favre also went over 4,000 yards passing in a season for the fourth time in his career and reached 30 TD passes for the eighth time in his career! Shocked (How long can one man be that damn good? Shocked )

I triple dog dare any team to look past us this year!

Oh ya, and if you see this guy coming at you...

http://images.packers.com/pg/2004-10-28b/photo9.jpg

... drop any and all footballs you might be carrying before you get hurt!
4 Sacks today by himself! Shocked
9 Sacks today by the team! Shocked

Oh, and I almost forgot, it's becoming so common now; guess who scored another touchdown?

Boy, I wish I were in Wisconsin right now! Smile

Wormhole back to the Future!

Poor ChildÂ… are you bitter?

Laughing How many games did you team win year again? Any? Razz
Oh ya.... 2 Laughing

Brett Farve threw more Touchdowns this year than your entire team scored (offense, defense, special teams, passing AND rushing Idea )... on his way to leading the Packers to top of the NFC in Yards per game, Points per game and TD's per game!... Making The PACKERS the NFC's most potent offense and earning them top-spot for Total Offense in the Conference according to the NFL.

I recommend you drop to your knees childÂ… and beg St. Vince to help you find your way. Idea

That does make me laugh, but keep in mind we are talking about The Niners. They suck and that isn't in question. Boy do they suck.

I was pointing out that Favre was abused when he played The Igals, and they will most likely meet again in The Playoffs. Where Favre will again get shut down by the likes of Lito Sheppard and Michael Lewis.

I'm not looking past our game against the Vikings next weekend (how many times should we have to kick their collective a$$ this year? Feels like groundhog day), but I love your confidence in the Pack making it the Conference Championship Game! If we do, we'll see what happens. All I know for sure; is no two Sundays are exactly alike. Will T.O. be back by then?

Vikes are chokers from hell, they will do absolutely nothing in the playoffs. Vick doesn't know how to run his offense, and The Falcons secondary is suspect. So Pack get there by default.

Don't count on seeing the Igals though, winner of Hawks vs. Rams will be a great sleeper pick.
