Are government and military unnecessary, considering that all people have to sleep?

Because all people have to sleep, and not just some, can this be its own moral argument against politics and government?

@Thomas33,
I've spent enough sleepless nights, and I know from the self-help books on the subject that so have many others — obviously government and the military are required because we all don't sleep at the same time.

@hightor,
Is it realistic, that people would have to sleep at the same time in order to not need central government, or elected representatives?

@Thomas33,
Our military bases are all around the world. When I served in the Strategic Air Command, we had alerts when we had to stay up for over 24 hours. That was over 50 years ago.

@Fil Albuquerque,
Society is difference, therefore isn't there an argument to be made that rules and society are incompatible, given that difference inherently means collision?

@TomTomBinks,
Thomas throws out a lot of bizarre philosophical questions, this is just the latest in a long line. He's harmless enough, I don't think he's at all malicious, even if I do think most of it is a pile of old bollocks.

@izzythepush,
I think he's young, judging from some references he's made. I don't know if he's crazy or just messing with us.

@TomTomBinks,
I think he's a philosophy student, this could be part of a book or a thesis or a new cheese based snack or something.

@izzythepush,
I'll say cheese based snack. This is just the sort of information one would need to gather to develop a good one.

@TomTomBinks,
We've got wotsits, an orange snack that's already been used to describe Trump. Like Cheetos, but more to the British taste. Cheetos didn't really take off over here. The only places that sell them are specialist Polish shops.
