Just curious here ... is this a closed-end, agenda-driven "talking points" discussion, or might there be interest in actually examining the development and implimentation of the contemporary gentlemans' agreements blanketly referred to as the Laws of War?

Lotsa folk talk about The Geneva Conventions in all but total ignorance of what they, their antecedants and their previous and subsequent protocols and treaties actually are or say, or even of the role any of them play in geopolitical reality.
