How would the United States benefit from four more years under the "leadership" of this twitchy, power-mad, verbally dyslexic boy-man who f*cked the economy, indulges in games of Stratego with the American troops as playing pieces, and kills innocent civilians in the name of patriotism?

Frozen in time, April 5, 2004:
THE PRESIDENT: I just met with Specialist Chris Hill's family from North Carolina. You know, I told the family how much we appreciated his sacrifice -- he was killed in Iraq -- and assured him that we would stay the course, that a free Iraq was very important for peace in the world, long-term peace, and that we're being challenged in Iraq because there are people there that hate freedom. But the family was pleased to hear that we -- its son would not have died in vain. And that's an important message that I wanted to share with you today.
Let me ask you a couple of questions. Who is the AP person?
Q I am.
THE PRESIDENT: You are?
Q Sir, in regard to --
THE PRESIDENT: Who are you talking to?
Q Mr. President...

According to my neighbor, we should vote for Bush because "Kerry is for the U.N. and the U.N. wants to take our guns away".
He even gave me a xeroxed copy from "American Rifleman" magazine that encouraged people to watch a debate between Wayne LaPierre and Rebecca Peters.
When I showed him LaPierre's obit in yesterday's paper where LaPierre's wife had said that "Wayne said if Bush was elected we would leave the country - and we did" (moving to France, no less) my neighbor was..... ummm.... speechless.
Which leads me to believe that if you just don't care to really know anything, you should vote for Bush.
That's definitely an interesting opinion that seems to be shared by many here at A2K...
What do you call people who cast their votes based on one issue?
Who does your local Catholic archdiocese endorse?
I call them "single-issue voters" or, "Bill".
I don't know who they endorse, I don't really pay much attention to endorsements. Some Catholic bishiop's organization ran a big ad in Sunday's paper in favor of Bush so that would be my guess.
It all comes down to stem cell and abortion.
Why should we vote for Bush?
I can think of many reasons not to. But not one why we should.
Because John Kerry is a worse option...
when left with Bush and Kerry...I'll choose the lesser of two evils.
Thinking really hard, but having trouble coming up with a single good reason.
1. He will take a firmer stance against terrorism than Kerry.
2. He will not bring the AWB back, but will leave that to the legislative branch.
3. He will appoint conservative judges.
4. Congress is still primarily republican and we don't need gridlock during a time of war.
5. Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld.
6. Bush will not back down from the war in Iraq.
7. The military supports Bush.
