I do too. She can be a handful at times. Her willfulness and self confidence can be a challenge at times as a parent, but it helps her at times like this.
No one makes her back down when she feels she is in the right - When she was in elementary school, she was told she threw too hard and other kids didn't want to catch when she threw (this would be any type of ball). She shrugged and said that is the way I throw - she refuse to throw easier. She was marked down in gym as a result. However, she played an outstanding third base that summer - the team was happy she threw so hard.
