Hi guys
I need to make an acronym of Latin words for DIP that relates to time travel, a time travel portal or journeying through time.
I know next to nothing about Latin, and all I came up with was Dies Itinero Porta, which I am positive makes no sense.
If anyone could help, I would be eternally grateful.
@bfmpete,
So, if I understand you, you want a Latin phrase that pertains to time
travel and the initial letters must be D, I, P. Is that correct?
@George,
Correct. If possible. The initial letters have to be in that order, but the words in it don't necessarily have to mean 'time travel portal' in that order. Could mean portal for time travel. Could mean journey through time. Just something that makes structural sense with the only parameters being the Latin initials and the subject of time travel or a time travel portal as an object.
@bfmpete,
That's tall order, but I'll see if I can come up with something.
Nothing comes to mind right now.
@George,
Would 'Dies Itinero Porta' be completely wrong?
Is this for a sci-fi novel, or these days I suppose, a computer game?
@centrox,
Correct.
Latin is preferable, but right now I'd take any language that fit the bill.
@bfmpete,
Sorry, bfmpete, I'm throwing in the towel.
I can't think of a Latin phrase that would fit your requirements.
Good luck and I hope someone else can help.
George

Eternity is a long day's journey.

Crazy Latin it is then:
Dies Iter Portalis
