He DOES look rather familiar, doesn't he margo?
What? Am I late. Now let's see. It's hibernate during the winter, not the spring, summer and fall. I just got them turned around in my so called mind. Anyway I'm back after a lengthy abscence and glad to see some treasured names still here.
Welcome back, bobsmythhawk!
Hi msolga. Good to be back even if I lost my avatar and being relegated to a newbie again. Doesn't bother me. Matter of fact I was surprised my password still worked.
The serious search for a new avatar begins!
Nothing serious about it. But I was fond of my old one a beautiful picture of an adult goshawk.
Aw, come on, Bob! Ya gotta take these things seriously!
Well, damn. I'm gonna try one more time:
Bob, weren't you originally from Canada?
There. Maybe he'll see that and reply.
Nope. Raised in Somerville, Mass. Currently live in Hull, Mass. Real name Robert E. Smith
Aw, was the goshawk an image you found here on a2k?
howdy bobsmyth!
i went digging, and unearthed your avatar
Wow! I love that avatar. That's a hawk and the prettiest goshawk I ever caught (I'm a volunteer raptor bander for U. S. fish and wildlife). I tried to cut and paste it to regain it but failed miserably.
Region you're a treasure. I am so grateful. I'll have a whack at it. Wish me luck.
don't mention it, hawkman!
and... tune in to Dys' thread on the Nest being destroyed in Manhattan. (I haven't posted there yet, but have been talking the story up elsewhere. Roberta, of a2k, knows those birds...)
Back when I get a link.
Has Gus been away lately?
Or maybe I've just been on the wrong threads?
You mean to say that you have been on the right threads !!
But I enjoy those Gus threads!
Thats why they are "wrong"
