I'm sorry (& rather alarmed!) to hear about the severity of your eye problems, panzade, say nothing of your worries about the financial side of the situation! So your vision is now 100% since the operation? I do hope so!
I was wondering what had happened to you, panzade (As you can see! Wink

Wow Panzade. I'm glad it was something fixable. I didn't realize you were old enough to have cataracts yet. I'm facing that sometime in my future too, but hope that it happens more quickly in one eye than the other.

Good to see you back, panzade, and good as well that all seems to be fixed.

(Since two years my eye specialist tells me that might happen within the next couple of years - I'm glad, it still can be done with new glasses ... and will be paid by our mandatory insurance.)

I can assure you...sight is a precious thing....and getting it back instantly is miraculous....what's really cool is that a lens was implanted to correct my nearsightedness....now I don't need glasses to drive...cool?

hey foxy...the Dr was amazed I was so young to get them....they came on in the space of 9 months!....he said it's genetics

glad to see you dude. I heard that , besides age and genetics, exposure to sunlight and smoking are related to early onset caaracts.

Im beginning to think that computer terminals are another risk factor.

according to my Doc, I could have stared into a cop's radar gun for 5 days straight and it wouldn't have caused such bad cataracts. I guess in my case it was hereditary
