Glad to see he's still here.
(And who the hell is this "Franics" character?)
If you had attended last year's San Francisco Gathering, you would have had a first person opinion about Francis. Take my word for it; he's a mysterious guy, but he's a first class gentleman (from Paris, yet).
Geez, c.i,. you sometimes baffle me!
Hi, fbaezer. I often think of your kind comments about Boston when recommending the city as a place to visit. I'm just sorry we never had a chance to get together while you were here seven years ago. (Mygawd, is it that long ago already???) Speaking of jazz, I just got back from a visit to Montreal while the annual International Jazz Festival was in progress there. Heard some really stunning performances from some people I've never heard of but will keep an ear open for. Remember this name: The Monica Shore Quintet. Five students from McGill University who I predict are going to make it big if they stick with it. Professionalism of the first water.
'Allo, c.i. Agree with you totally re: Francis. But the question was, who the hell is Franics? Seems there's a mysterious A2K-er skulking in the underbrush somewhere.
Oh man..I remember well that thread..on Abuzz, I think.. where the question was asked where to see jazz in Boston. Yikes! Wasn't that last week? oops...7 yrs ago...zippppppppp
No - the question was always about the Blue Man Group!

I think he's our creepiest member.
Clearly, he is a newbie attempting to pass himself off as Francis.
Tar and feather him!!!

Well, there's always people trying to steal my identity.
About a previous attemp, Thomas wrote:These Chinese. They really pirate every European quality product. But don't be angry. In Chinese culture, the faithful copying of a master is a great honor accorded by the student.

Say, who the hell is playing at the Hatch Shell anyway?
If the Blue Man Group play at the Hatch Shell, and arrive by Duck, I think the universe might explode. We must not let this happen!
The thread I started so long ago was general about Boston, with a couple of specifics: Jazz and a good restaurant. Merry Andrew gave me the jazz; littlek, a nice eatery. Jespah gave me the correct choice about the hotels offered to me.
They all insisted on the Blue Man Group (which I didn't see) and no one told me that there was something called The Big Dig.
We seem to have lost our "Baddog" (Baddog1: last post was July 3rd).
Hey, what happened to Heeven? I just looked up her profile and saw that she hasnt posted since May. What happened?
@nimh,
I think I'm missing. Can anyone help find me?
Anybody seen Steve? Funny lookin' guy with numbers after his name, and rides a bicycle. English, I believe.
@roger,

I did ... all the last couple of days.
@nimh,
I don't know, but I miss her too.
