I've really been missing makemeshiver.

mrs h and i are leaving for santiago de chile on friday, march 17 . we'll be sailing from valparaiso on mondey, march 20 via cap horn to lisbon , where we will be arriving on april 20 - flying back home the same day.
travel agent just phoned , will be picking up our tickets later today .

If anyone is wondering about Merry Andrew, Gus has him down in his cellar trying to stuff a butterfuly down his throat. I think Piffka is there too if he hasn't made a lampshade out her already.

Just talked to her on the phone, she set up her puter last night but can't find the mouse, I'm sure she will be online in the next day or two.

Hi dys! Is osso in ABQ now?

Osso has been in the albaturkey since Xmas day, she moved into her home a week ago, I believe she has 3 boxes unpacked so far.

I'm seething with envy

3 boxes unpacked so far, what derision I hear...
truth be told I haven't unpacked all that many boxes, relative to the total amount that went into storage. I am still futzing around with the vile brown carpet and the vile green underlayment, cough. I'm wearing a mask while I tear this stuff out piece by piece.

Have set up the computer (bought a new mouse, as some of the computer stuff is in a box over at the storage facility.. but which box I can't remember now) and cannot connect to the dsl yet.
The dsl people are Mac confused so far. Perhaps when I de-wired and packed the Mac I tore apart some key whatsit-o-meter.

So today I finally ordered a new one, something I was going to do in a week or two anyway. Now that that is in the works, I'll probably go home from Dys and Diane's and get connected more readily with help from a new dsl helperperson. (modem has all the right lights lit, but nothing comes up when we try to connect to the internet).

Thus I've been away from a2k longer than I anticipated. I suppose it's good for me, builds my character...

I ENVY you!!! But, I know it's really hard work.

Looking forward to some long-ish, detailed, contemplative osso posts, once she is well & truly settled in her new home.
