Hey guys and girls...
I have been thinking of late and I have come to an conclusion about what "country" would be the next super-power and personally I don't believe we will have country super-powers anymore. If I look at how the world is progressing I can see that all borders are vanishing and people are living together more by idiology and religions rather than countries. If you look at the general patriotic feel of the people, it has decreased quite a bit, and economically it makes more sense to live in regions or blocks than countries. I believe the next step would be regional super-powers, a step towards a more globalised world. This obviously is not proven to be so, but I think that it is very possible.
What do you guys and girls think about this, any theories, commentaries, points of interests? It would be good to hear what the people have to say.
I think that if they ever get themselves together properly, that Europe will regain it's former status as the dominant power in the world. Having said that, it will not be a long time before China starts to take a greater interest in world affairs, and then we had all better sit up and pay notice.
Could be, but I think that the new region between the states of Texas, Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas and Cuahuila could make a significant stand in the world, in ten years they could be the worlds strongest region economically, so there might be more to the entire regional world thing than what we can figure. I don't know, Europe has a chance, and China has a chance, but I believe that the next step might shock us all. I know one thing for sure, the U.S empire is falling, they will not be on top for a long long time....
