Funny, but I keep seeing polls that give Bush a marginal lead over Kerry.
At this stage in the race, I'm not sure that anything in these polls (no matter who they have in the lead) provide much comfort for betting on either horse.
It will probably be tight to the wire.
Yeah, especially seeing as they just don't poll anyone my age.
Most of my contemparies (~ middle 20's) don't own home phone lines, therefore, they are never polled. Ever.
And if you think the majority of younger folks aren't pro-kerry, you are out of your mind. I know literally hundreds of people my age and the vast majority of them are pro-Kerry.
There's no reason to believe that the same does not hold true nationally, and virtually NONE of these people are polled, ever. Why are they pro-Kerry? Many are anti-war, many don't want you fogeys running up more debt that WE will have to pay off.
You're gonna get a biiiiiig surprise on election day when one or two 'not in play' states go to Kerry out of nowhere. Bet on it.
