I'm going to try to sign up for at least one but maybe more hotmail accounts, so I clicked on hotmail, and find that signing up is done with a microsoft account. I am guessing they don't care if I have an iMac - any here know for sure?

@ossobucotemp,
I don't think they care at all. I've signed up using all kinds of different gear.

@ehBeth,
Thanks, I just asked the question on google, and they don't care. Yippee!

I'm going out for a while on a groceries adventure, but I'll try to get at least one account later..
Thank you for all your help. I didn't address the thread directly to you as you might not have been around and I had not many minutes to satisfy my curiosity right away... smiles.

@ossobucotemp,
Now I'll have to check out giving a red ribbon. I've always used ''discussion' heretofore.

@ossobucotemp,
Hotmail doesn't exist anymore. It's now outlook.com and is owned by Microsoft.

Gmail is the way to go these days. All the hip people are there.
