I have a problem that I'm hoping you guys could help me with. A friend I've been emailing constantly with has a hotmail account that is set up to be forwarded to a gmail account. Since 3 weeks ago all my emails to him (to the hotmail) bounce back, with a failed delivery message (gmail address non-existent).
Interesting enough, he's been able to write to me, without knowing he does not receive my messages.
Any suggestions what this might be and how can be solved?
@loneypop,
A s far as I know Hotmail recently closed down.
Pay particular attention to the last paragraph:

I'm not sure what the effect the fwd of Hotmail to Gmail account would do unless it was arranged properly. Are you sure about the error msg pointing to bad Gmail address?
@Ragman,
@Ragman
thanks for your reply. Yes, the error message reads "the email account that you tried to reach does not exist", referring to the gmail account.
This is really annoying.
@loneypop,
Have you contacted your friend asked him if he knows why his Gmail account might be acting peculiarly in this way. I recall that when I was on GMAIL you can block people.
Otherwise, perhaps you have it misspelled or transcribed it wrong?
