Has anyone noticed that bush, in the few days following the debates has fired back aggressively at Kerry on all the points Kerry made in the debate and yet during the actual event could do no more than stammer, sigh, and repeat a few stock catch phrases?

Gee if one didn't know better one would think bush incapable of thinking or responding on his feet, and that he's a paper tiger parrotting the statements of his writers and keepers......a tiger and a parrott......a mythological creature for the future (and sadly, the present)

I agree!!!
If Ive said it once Iv said it a thousand times, Bush is a puppet. He can't think for himself, and that is scary!!!

He's just a sore loser...that's why he lashes out at Kerry. His daddy probably gave him hell for having such lousy debating abilities.

Also, his awe shucks personality disappears when he's alone to fend for himself. He looks agitated, insecure, and his speech pattern parrots the same thing over and over and over .....

Bushieboy is lousy at Defense... much more comfortable being OFFENSIVE.
His failure to respond off-the-cuff can only be attributed to a dependency upon his Scripters and Handlers.
I'm quite certain they have exerted themselves mightily to restrain him from ad-lib responses... attempting to minimize comments like the "unborn feces" remark and such.

I don't Bush was ever on the Debating Team.

I think he was just a team manager.

From what I understand, from the Bush camp spin factory, he started abusing alcohol and cocaine in university to get over social anxiety disorder. I'm guessing that if he gave lip service to Jesus, and started abusing again to become a better public speaker, he'd have the election tied up.

I'm having dislexia this morning.

I don't think Bush was ever on the debating team. He was just a "water boy."

Sorry I beat you to the "cheerleader" line...and I'm even sorrier we have a president that the line fits.

But I suspect we are in the final four months of having to endure him.

man.... i am hopin' so.

don't think i can take another 4 years of this stuff. even scarier, they are alreday talking about running jeb. jesus... <sigh>

at least he can speak.

Yes, Jeb can. He handled himself quite nicely during all that crap Florida was experiencing.
