Me too Margo!

Don't reckon they can leave Andy Bichel out now. What a performance.

Welcome, Crashlanded - are you a cricket fan?

I understand there is a cricket club in Boston, although they apparently don't play cricket there. A journalist from Boston was out here for the Australian Open tennis in January, and did some cross reporting on the cricket on radio. It was he who mentioned the Boston Cricket Club.

Yes - Bichel in - Brett Lee - ?????(what's the use of speed if you don't take wickets with it?)

It wasnt a nail biter - we walloped them pretty comprehensively. Once Sachin got going, the Pakis did not have a chance !!!

As far as us Indians are concerned, we have won the world cup - nothing else really matters Smile

Oh the joy of seeing Shoaib akhtar getting hit for 18 runs in his very first over - can anything be more fulfilling ??

Looks like Pakistan v Zimbabwe is a wash out. That put Zimbabwe into the super sixes and knocks out England.

No England, Windies or South Africa. Looking good for the Aussies.

C'mon Gautam

A month ago you didn't think India would get through! There's certainly been some surprises, though!

With the Poms, the ony ones to give us a game, knocked out - things are interesting. It's up to your mate Sachin to get his act together.... Twisted Evil

I just watched the highlights from Aus v Eng again. The biggest problem for India, if Sachin doesn't fire, then they're done. The Aussies on the other hand have got matchwinners right through the order. They're not invincible, but boy they're gonna take some beating in this competition.

Rugby World Cup is on late this year in Oz. Might you perhaps become a rugby fan then?

There'll surely be a thread on this , too - as there are a couple of rugby nuts - or rugger buggers - around (see Moondoggy and Oakman!). As much of it is going on in my home town, even I'll become a fan!

Ooh, ooh I just saw the question and I have bowled a few maidens over. One night back in about 1980 I bowled about 4 or 5 over in the same night - not to brag or anything!
