Just kidding. I'm just a bit tired of the rhetoric in this forum, and wanted to share this story from your friendly neighbours to the north:
http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Canada/2004/10/01/652305-cp.html
weve een hearing about a new innuit Nation in the Canadian North (boy, thats le oxymoroinne isnt it?). do you have any news from Ottawa? Like wheres the capitol of this new Nation going to be? What are the boundaries? will i now have to buy a new national Geographic Atlas? Do they have WMD's? when should we invade?
I believe it's called Nunavut, and their WMD is native throat singing.
http://www.gov.nu.ca/ A cool site actually. Ottawa tells me, "beware the throat singing, it can toss a tank."
oh, its a territory, not a sovereign nation. Im so stupid. Its got 29000 people. That is surprising.
Yes, a territory, not a nation. We Canadians hide our racism, not like you up front 'Mericans. There's lots of land to buy, if you like cold weather. There is a joke going around about the Native people's claims for territory. They approach the powers that be for legal claim to legitimate land occupied for centuries before foreign invasion. The government discusses the request and decides "We can't give them some of it, let's give them Nunavut."
WHy dont you pM c. i. about this hot new vacation destination, hes always lookin to take a weird vacation trip. Hes going to ANtarctica in jan. Hell , Ill bet he could save thousands by going to nunavut in JAn.
My mom would probably book the first trip if they had a casino
You're mom would be disappointed, but your Mormon would be right at home on that Indian land.
22 kilos? That's only 48.4 lbs. I hope the kid is doing well today.
I hope the kid is doing well too. I suppose that's why the rest of the world calls us 'peacekeepers'.
Mind you, 'Social Democracy' is still up for discussion.
