Dear Ossobuco and all readers and all posters here:

My purpose here is to learn from others who think better than I think.

So far, and I am courting another vituperative from Ossobuco, I have not found Ossobuco to be into better thinking and writing than me.

I am still not experienced with the ways and means of this a2k, though I like it very much: because it is so easy to write here, and I don't get banned at all, for this website doesn't ban anyone at all, but only metes out suspension - that is in effect my impression from reading the rules here.

So, dear Ossobuco, please tell me how to really get to see the list of factually new posts here in a2k.

Now, I do get to see my new posts, but not in the webpage of New Posts, but in the webpage of My Posts.

Why do I want to see the latest posts at all from all and any posters here?

It is because I am keen to read thoughts which are really into sharing genuinely useful knowledge from fellow humans here.

Dear Ossobuco, I do not despair that you can and will one day if ever contribute from your thinking and writing, to the enhancement of fellow humans in the way of better knowledge.

Dear readers here, I am keen to know what new posts registered members here have contributed to this forum.

Because that is the only way I can know what new thoughts from members here have contributed, but the New Posts is not doing that job at all.

Now, I am sure the powers that be here are monitoring all posts in their forum; so I guess they would not or could not do anything about the New Posts webpage, as to make it in fact the updating continuously list of all whatsoever new in date and in TIME new posts, of course which they care to publish for public viewing.

And I am not aware of any kinds of posts sent by posters who do also want everyone to get to see their posts published in open publicly accessible boards.

As of now, I am not even getting to see my new posts appearing in the New Posts webpage, so I am wondering how posters get to notice any new posts from me, and they care to react to them.

Perhaps accidentally?

Well, anyway, I am writing here so that the powers that be will do something about it.

Now, if some posters here are irked by my idiotic posting, that is their idiotic privilege.

One more time:

New posts are the most recent posts to show up in the system, nothing to do with you unless you were the last person to post. That may change in a matter of seconds to a newer post.

You might most easily find your last post by clicking on your profile (click on username) and you will find all your posts forever in reverse order. Or look at My posts; I don't use that myself, but I trust it works.

I gather you haven't checked your own preferences, please look at the bottom of the page to click on it. Many people say no to having others know when they are reading a2k posts.

Before being a falsely super nice belligerent poster, consider looking around before slamming a2k.

Thanks, Ossobuco, I will now proceed to the link you present to me, and see whether there is a preference by which all new posts whatsoever are published for everyone to notice, starting with the authors of these news posts and everyone else, including myself the author commenting on the webpage on New Posts.

Now, I have looked up your links, etc.

And also done some investigation, and in brief…

Perhaps you can tell me what criteria a2k employs in determining what new posts should appear and when in the webpage of New Posts?

Consider what I notice just now in New Posts, but I have never come across any of my new posts, see below in quote.

What I notice is that when a new post appears in New Posts, it is headed by the inscription of the thread, then the poster who published a new post in it.

And what? It is not first the name of a poster and then the thread in which the post is published, and then later no more mention of the new post in the course of time…?

So, I will now transmit this post now, and when I see it already published, monitor New Posts to observe if and when it does come out, with first mention of the thread, “New not new”.

Roger is one guy here who is always seeking to be helpful with guys like myself, thanks a lot, dear Roger,

I wished I knew where in ak2 I could read about what is what and how to do it or see it in a2k.

Dear readers here, I will no longer linger further with how to get my new posts to come out in the webpage of New Posts, because my purpose here is to get folks all or if any at all posters who manage to read my posts and want to discuss with me.

I have read the Rules of a2k and made all the answers to the Preferences so that no posts and no words whatsoever are kept out of my sight, and also I will always allow noises whatever to come to my sight: thereby with all these steps I will just be happy with seeing my posts come out, or people who want to read me get to me.

Okay, I will now not bother myself anymore with proposing how the powers that be here in a2k can and should do a better job.

Whatever: I want to commend the powers that be in a2k for the privilege of posting my thoughts here, and getting to talk with fellow posters who do care to exchange thoughts with me.
