In the meantime, I refomated my computer.

It's nice now again .... with (nearly) the same problems as before.

And, yes, nice to see you all again! (Obviously, I entered A2K twice just seconds before it went down ... THAT'S really FUN Mad )

Well, I guess there is supposed to be some comfort in knowing I am not alone with the computer problems, but somehow I can't feel good about everyone else going through the headaches, too.

Still no search after a couple of weeks now. When I click on the search tab on my IE toolbar, I get a search sidebar that says msn can't be found. Also blocks me from Google, web searches on any other pages that have a search box, microsoft - so I can't get updates or look for a solution, and it redirects me to some sh!tty findwhatevernow search page.

%#@!*&%!!!!!

I tried reloading IE and Outlook. Worked for about an hour last night and then reverted to its old tricks.

Think I'll wipe everything and start over. Any idea if I have to do something special, or can I just stick in the XP CD and tell it to install?

A beer or two with a couple of friends would help.

Join Joe and me on Thursday!

I'd love to, Frank. Just let me know where and when, and I'll be there.

Msolga, I am not a traitor...in fact I am very sympathetic. Even my computer drives me crazy at times. Smile

I know you're not a traitor, colorbook! It just hurts when one is laughed at when in such huge distress. <sniff>
