I'm gonna spend my hooky day posting on A2K.
Then I'll wash the truck at one of those self-serve places. Lunch at the Thai place. Laundry. An hour or so of on-line bridge...
What do you like to do with your unexpected day off?
I only took Mondays off when I was hung over although, I must admit a fondness for taking hooky days in the Fall, just to do outside stuff in the crisp air.
I don't play hooky any more for two reasons. One - I end up doing more work at home than at work any way. Two - If I call in sick, I just get this day deducted from my total accumulated days off any way.
Hmmm...this thread ain't long for the world.
I had some surfing to do, here on a2k and the mail, then I took a nice long bath, and then I had mylunch, nice and slow. After that I took a long nap on my sofa, followed by a short walk and cup of joe and a small beer in a little pub just around the corner.
Not very productive, but I guess that's what my free day is gonna be today!
Was at a RUSH concert in Stuttgart yesterday, awesome! Musta been 12 years since I last saw them live, I needed a slow day to be able to relive it!
