If I was given a hundred million dollars and told I could spend it any way I liked and do anything I wanted but I would die within the next ten, fifteen, twenty years (quickly, painlessly), would I take it?
I would have no money problems and be free to spend time with loved ones and do lots of things I might otherwise never get to do in the course of a natural lifetime.
Taking into consideration I might die naturally before the time is up anyway, what would people think of a person accepting an offer such as this? What if it was for a good deed, like medical testing for a currently incurable disease?
No amount of money is worth even a single day of life.
and yet lives are thrown away every day for little or no acceptable reason.
No way! I wanna be rich with no strings. Reminds me that I have to go out and get the lottery :-)
