with a fly swatter?

I was at the market yesterday, and the soup bar was featuring a cold cucumber/mint/mango soup. I sampled it and it tasted ok. I certainly wouldn't want an entire bowl of it, flyswatter or no.

@revelette2,
Now that we are on the second page of the thread I want to start discussing the methodology. It's basically just based on the fact that the yuck factor correlates strongly with conservatism. But it's only correlation, not causation so apparently you might just be one of the many (I'm guessing) exceptions to this correlation that they have established.

One of them seemed to be, the one about paper vs fruit. I wonder if that one is intended to filter out nonsensical respondents (for their use in this data when they publish).

Maybe. However I was okay with some of the yuckier items. Fly swatter and soup is fine by me since the swatter was completely washed. The worm and the maggots though were repulsive.

Hmm...maybe that's why I came in so borderline between Con and Lib.

@Sturgis,
I ran it a few times and the major differences occured when I voted "Strongly agree" or "strongly disguted" . Otherwise you get halvsy credit for "thinking it out"
Apparetly, the Democratic mind sees everything within a spectrum and the Conservative mind is dead on iin its convictions.

Thats twaddle.

I vited several times mixig the strongly v mildly mix, and no matter how wacko the subject, "mild v Strongly" was the definer.

Try it. Its an experiment

@farmerman,
Thank you for spending the time to analyze its veracity. Well, I did it for the 'fun of it' any ways.

That's also not the methodology they are using.

66% liberal 34% conservative. Not very accurate. I know I am closer to 105% liberal.

@RABEL222,
I wonder if those results intend to say how likely you are to be liberal or conservative instead of how liberal or conservative they guess you are...
