On several if not many instances I've suggested chemical means to fight depression

Rarely get any sort of response, very puzzling, it's as if the poor souls don't really wanna

Maybe some people don't like the thought of getting dependent, and certainly in the US there is the cost.

True Tes though if it's a purely chemical thing, I'd offer little hope

There is that. Probably OTC's are in general cheaper, while 'script's prices just jump all over the place
