To all the men who have changed diapers, put together swing sets, gave advice, negotiated bedtimes, cooked, cleaned, taught sports, worked patiently through math homework, visited pediatricians, sewn Halloween costumes, kissed bumps and scrapes, stepped on legos... and done all of the things that parents do.
I wish you a happy Father's Day.
The whole time my kids were growing up, I was growing up, too. Some of my four may have bypassed me by now. If not: soon.
