Laughing

I used to respect that man but ----(sigh)----no more.

Can't wait to see how Arnold does tonight. I think I'd like to see Maria walk him out on stage or introduce him. That oughta really bring his message home to the conservative base of his party. He)) he's for things I'm against! He's a Demorat in a Republican suit.

Exclamation Hmmmm. Unless he's a sell-out like McCain!

Bi- You have that all wrong. See what happens when you don't read the Florida newspapers? Already there's talk about little brother Jeb stepping up to the plate in 2008! Rolling Eyes

Add: to further my political ambitions so do I
R. Giuliani Aug 30, 2004

I often wonder how these people can live with themselves. I would assume that inorder to be a successful politician one must have no integrety or conscience and have larceny in their heart.

So it's taken people by surprise that McCain is a Republican? It says he is right after his name. I don't understand why McCain should lose anyone's respect for supporting the people he feels will lead the country better.

Rudi gave Kerry the once over, then rinsed and repeated.

I'm pretty sure it's because the Bush attack machine drug his good name and service record through the mud the same way Kerry is being done now.

McCain sure had a lot of criticism for Bush back then. I think that in this case McCain sees it as the 'best of two bad choices' type solution.

I told E.G. about the "might makes right" thing ("might makes right"??? I haven't seen any transcripts yet, maybe it was a captioning goof) and he thought maybe it was McCain's little subtle sabotage. Delegates cheer, but "might makes right" is actually a pretty negative thing to say, and pretty damning of Bush policy.

Oh, the transcript says "For their families, for their friends, for America, for mankind, they sacrifice to affirm that right makes might..." Was that his flub or the captioners'? "Right makes might" is still weird.

I would like to see a whole Bush dynasty ruling America. As in: you think it can't be worse (Jeb Bush - 2008) - it can! (Jenna Bush, 2024) Mr. Green
