Any sort of damn rodent can just slip in and out of here! We need something a lot more serious than hamsters on 'High Alert', a sort of electronic 'rabbit-proof fence' as it were.................
Norton is in general not good. Antivir is just a virus scanner, for a firewall there is also gratis but reowned Outpost,

No, Antivir doesn't contain a firewall - because you don't need one. Trust me. Instead, you just need to configure your Windows correctly. Unfortunately I don't have a good link to english websites that explain how to do it, though.
One simple thing I can tell you though: if you are using Windows 2000 or XP, don't use a user with Administrator rights for working - instead, use a normal user and onyl switch to the Administrator if necessary.
Also, stop using Outlook/Outlook Express and Internet Explorer and use safer programs, like Mozilla Thunderbird (email client) and Mozilla Firefox (browser).
I agree with hihp. That's also right.

It is already better than Norton.

Hi moondoggy... you avatar is really fitting well to your name...
And in spite of the fact that I have no clue whatsoever as to what "pashin" means, I shall try answering with a careful "yes?" :-)

Well... I won't tell about pashin', but we're still together :-)
Hey, considering the fact that you joined almost two years ago, you haven't posted too much here
i've been too busy finishing the degree
Well, that explains it indeed :-) have you already? Or still working at it?

It takes a while in Germany to become a "Volljurist".

Which is why I not yet am one - but having passed the first state exam is about the first half done.
