Wow!!! hihp, what a list and such a blast from the past. I remember most of those threads.
Damn! Did I really have that many crush threads? LOL!
Hehe, thanks, Deb :-) I just couldn't stop... so many threads, so many memories... so I had 256 when I came here to A2k... and then people posted threads here and I downloaded those as well, and so on...
Wow, was freaky this morning... I always put my computer into hibernation mode instead of shutting it down completely because then it powers up faster... but that means all programs remain in the status they were when I hibernated the computer.
Well, this morning I turned my computer at work on, and the browser still had the Goodbye Party thread showing... that was weird...
Got your "good bye" response to "Master E Mail List/ Want to Join?" by 'email-update' from abuzz just this minute, hiph
No, I just meant it's weird you should receive the email update only now... becausue in general email updates were workign fine in the last couple days of Abuzz...
I got several Abuzz updates recently from threads that I posted in at least a year ago...it was a bit strange.
I recieved two Abuzz updates today. (9/6)

I didn't post at all within the last two years [besides the condolances] and updates started indead some weeks ago again.
ibredd has been saying on other forums he/she thinks two reporters for the NY Times was posting on Abuzz; to avoid embarrassing revalations they shut the site down. No proof was offered, but it would explain the abruptness opf it.
I housecleaned my Food file today; I had a batch of old abuzz food thread urls stored there. Zap to the trash... except one worked and I went ahead and copied it. Something about Marinades..
I dunno. I tried feeding off of it by changing the url number to those of the threads I hadn't copied, and it went to the Dead as a Doornail screen (I forget the wording, site not available..) But it worked enough that I could cut and paste.
