What have you lost that you wish you had back?

LOL! I had quite a fight over giving it up. I was rather attached to it.

Fire is one of my big fears, too. I always feel bad when I hear that someone has lost personal memento's, but by theft or fire is just really sad.

I was robbed some years ago. They took mostly clothes and I mourned most of all a gorgeous black raincoat and two pairs of suede pants for the longest time. Couldn't squeeze into those pieces now, tho. Mourning over.

I regret the loss of my hope, optimism, and trust.

I regret losing my vinyl collection years ago....

I would like to have my singular solitude ---my own thoughts to myself.
I haven't had many hours without evil coming through the doors of my sub conscious (by hypnosis), since July 2001. That is a LONG time to be tortured.

Folks, get your hankies ready...I've cried a river over my stupidity. My parents presented me with my Grandfathers wedding ring just before my marriage. I lost it as it fell under a wooden deck. Oh why did you have to bring it up?

When I was about 7 (?) my favorite aunt (role model in many things, famous person) after winning an award that included a sizeable amount of cash, bought my cousin (her daughter, 6 months older than me) and me matching 24K gold necklaces. A delicate chain with 7 little heart lockets dangling from it. We both loved our necklaces, and both lost them. :-( We WERE ~7, but still, I've always felt awful about that. I've had a succession of necklaces since that follow the same basic model. Right now wearing a silver one with delicate chain and 5 filligree beads.

I wish I could get back my KISS meets the Phantom of the Park tape. And also my ability to believe in fairytales.

I am so bummed...

I just bought a great pair of earrings three hours ago.
I paid $70 on sale for 14k gold chain drops with a tiny tearshaped amber crystal dangling from the end...when I could have bought something similar for $15 on the next rack.

I only wear pearl studs or diamond studs...so these new sexy earrings were going to be fun.

They WERE fun until I looked in the mirror in the parking lot of Macy's...I had only one earring on!
