PS If no one else wants to be the Gamesmaster, I can do it again, but I do want to give someone else the opportunity. :-D

I can't do it, no stamina for the long hall, such as it is, but I follow with interest.

No problem, Jespah!
OK, the clue machine has given the first print off. As it's the first, it's not in rhyming mode quite yet.

The murdered victim had been on A2K for more than one year.
The murderer has more than 4,999 posts.
The murder took place in a secluded (i.e. quiet) forum. so that no one could see the deed.
The victim is not in Europe.

Hmm if no one could see the deed, I wonder if that means that an animal was not the murder weapon (capybara, hamster or harbor seal)?

victim: dlowan?
murderer: ehBeth?
forum: Wilderness, Wildlife, & Ecology? (sounds secluded to me)
weapon: rabid hamsters (just because that one cracks me up )

Since the murderer has > 4,999 posts, that means it can only be one of some 42 or so people.

drom, thanks for being the GameMaster!!!
hmmmm..... <making notes and cleaning the magnifying glass>
A quiet forum? How can an internet forum be quiet? hmmmm..... does that imply that there are very few messages? no messages in ALL CAPS (shouting).... hmmmm..... how would you write a message in a whisper?..... by changing the font?
hmmmm..... <she hums quietly>

No problem, Peace and Love !
Quiet board, as you know , is one that does not have many messages.
There may be more clues coming soon. Watch this space .

More clues are acummin in:
In this forum you won't find a car
But it's not the quietest at all:
The mad killer would not wear a bra
And the victim's picture does not crawl.
