Wait, you're not done yet! What's Bovril?

And is Marmite sweet or savory? I don't think yeast actually has any flavo(u)r on its own.

Bovril is a thick, salty beef extract, sold in a distinctive, bulbous jar. (at least as far as I know)

in the middle

You mean 'hagelslag' and 'pindakaas'? Well 'pindakaas' is peanut butter, a strange translation, because 'kaas' means cheese, so it should be peanut cheese, but it's peanut butter (or the other way around, meaning that 'pindakaas' should be 'pindaboter' - 'boter' is the Dutch translation of butter - but I'm off topic now).

'Hagelslag' should be translated as (I did a search on this) chocolate confetti.

This is an image of a Dutch pack of 'hagelslag'.

Well, I do think 'hagelslag' is somewhat easier to say than 'Confetti Schokoladenkuchen'

No way! 1) The Dutch language has more connections with Frisian and English than German. 2) Dutch is more difficult to learn than German (which makes it a more interesting language of course). 3) Dutch is also spoken in Flanders, as well as parts of France, Suriname, the Netherlands Antilles, and Afrikaans - the language spoken by many South Africans - is derived from Dutch. Now, OK, we can (I said, we can) agree on the part that German is also spoken in Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Belgium, as well as by minorities in Poland, Hungary, Rumania, the Baltic States, Russia (as well as some other former Soviet Republics), Italy, France, Namibia and Denmark, but I STILL think Dutch is ehm better in this way Neutral Anyway, it's just OBVIOUS Dutch is better. No arguments ehm needed.
