Former vice president polite, trooper says

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

ASTORIA, Ore. -- Former Vice President Al Gore was cited for speeding as he drove a rented car to visit family on the coast, authorities said.

OK Karzak, then we're all "lawbreakers" if you wish to put it that way. I think Gore's a dope too but I personally think speed limits on highways and freeways are nothing more than a revenue tool for the cops.

Yes, we know Karsak never breaks the speed limit, especially when the little grey cells are trying to put two and two together.

John Candy's canajun, and dead. He can't/couldn't run for President. He could however drive quickly. They're known for that in Scarborough.

John Candy would have been an excellent president. Perhaps you should work on your resemblence to him, Karzak; that would, at least, help you in the charisma department Wink.

It's typical that they dig up 'dirt' on someone hardly related to the Democrat campaign while lacking anything to say bad of John Kerry. Still, I should rather a president who is polite while done for speeding and makes no fuss of it, than someone who tries to cover it all up.

And what is that? A liberal with a sense of humor as opposed to a conservative with no sense of humor?

That was tasteless

This whole thread is much ado about nothing. Who hasn't got a speeding ticket? What's the point with pointing out Gore's ticket, he is not even running for anything as far as I know and if he was; what's the deal; he's now a hardened criminal for speeding?

Now see, this is the type of stuff I do not understand. What concern is it to me or to anyone else that Al Gore got a speeding ticket? I bet nearly everyone here has gotten one at some point. So I really don't even see the point in bringing it up. I mean, really, who cares??????
