Not only are new jobs not being created but during the month of July, the layoff rate climbed 8% over the month of June.
A source for this info would be nice.
The unemployment rate is 5.5%, not gonna get much better.
Oh, and don't count on the 10 million jobs Kerry promises if elected...
Should we count on the million we've lost as a sign of who we should vote for? Or the decline in quality positions nationwide?
What SHOULD we count on, X?

That's an interesting article.
I learned about this in the 8 August 2004 edition of the Boston Globe in the Boston Works section. Their sources were Challenger, Grey and Christmas, the outplacement firm, through Reuters.
