Sounds about right, fortune. I know that afternoon for me is the next morning for dlowan.

What time is it for you right now? It's just after 11 p.m. here, so my guesstimate would put it early afternoonish for you.

It's about a quarter past one right now, in the afternoon that is. Thanks for the link, by the way.

I wonder if daylight savings time is confusing the calculation.

Are you using Daylight savings on the East Coast?

OK then, must be the daylight savings. Assuming that you are still on daylight savings time on the 6th, I will have to be here at 5 in the morning.

Erm, I'll try.

Shocked

or howsabout we hang around and chat and wait for you to wake up and get here? it may take a while to get the required mass of bodies here.

When we used to do a "Saturday night" chat a few years ago, we'd often be catching margo, wilso and dlowan as they were getting up on Sunday morning.

Sounds good to me. No doubt there will be a few late arrivals.

That's a wonderful idea, you two! We can't afford to lose the Australians on this one. Hopefully, we'll be able to get as many people as possible to stick around for a while.

Fellow a2kers. I get the feeling that the majority of people are not behind us in our attempt to break this record. At this rate I am expecting about a 5-6 person spike. What can we do to get this thing off of the ground?

Don't worry.
It's not time to get frenzied yet.

Changing the title of this thread might grab a bit of attention.

Or start a new thread - with the date and time as the title.

Heck, we got a pile of people dressed up in Easter avatars earlier this year - A2K'rs are fine.

What? When????? How? Who?

need to read back - but what is afoot?

but - are we speaking of reviving the realm chats?

That chat room is still there - and works way better than the one here!

It's going to be 5 am at Melbourne; so that's the same timezone as Sydney, isn't it: GMT + 10?
