However, get out the camera, Lash as I agree with you on this one. Mandatory voting would be counter productive. Giving people more confidence that their vote counts and more trust in their government and people will vote.

If they pay attention and vote correctly it will count. If they don't, it is nobody's fault but their own.

Count in that context meaning to have value or significance, not that it is or is not counted in an election.
