Quite often flatlanders drive out to the Rocky Mtns in the peak of the summer season usually heading past the amusement parks straight into the highest regions of the mountains and is their wont to take a afternoon stroll among the pines surrounding the highest peaks. At the same time, it is common in these high areas for mid to late afternoon thunderstorms to unleash sparse amounts of rain amid copious stikes of firy lightning. Flatlanders, not unlike golfers, usually notice the darkning clouds scutting across the blue skies and not wanting to dirty themselves by laying in a ditch as the brief rains fall, often head for the nearest tall tree seeking shelter from the storm as it were. The next day or so, after the forest service has doused the lighning fire, the bodies of the flatlanders or golfers are removed and next of kin notified.
They ought to have headed for their Air Force One and waited it out there, watching television or whatever they do.
Let's just hope they were planning on voting GOP...
They were acting like Repubs, weren't they? Do it my way.
