i've just graduated from colledge, but it seems that the 1st job is not as interesting as i thought ~~~~~~~~~
There r 7 people in my room, but they never speak to each other in a day... i don't know why~~~~~so now ,i don't talk to them either
is there any chance that we can be friends? i don't think so......
Jobs aren't always exciting, and coworkers don't always become friends. After all, you've been put together due to your employer's desire to build a team, not through any attempt to create friendships.
While you need not be buddies with everyone, it does help to be friendly and pleasant enough so that you can start to build a network. Simple things work best, ask people how their weekend was. Ask if they want to go to lunch. If they look sad or sick, ask them if they're all right.
Some people will answer you, some won't. Not all of these efforts will be fruitful and you do need to be careful not to seem prying or a pest, but there's always room for kindness. At the absolute minimum, you'll know that you tried, and can take these skills to your next job, where hopefully the people will be more friendly - and you can also honestly say that you did everything to try to make friends.
thank u,jespah, your suggestion is very helpful for me~~~~~~~
