My mother started developing this rash Monday. It has been slowly getting worse. Her one eye looks smaller now than it has been. The rash just become bumpy today and has spread to her neck, forehead, and face. She feels fatigued, but she only got 2 hours of sleep last night. We aren't for sure what it is. We are guessing it is an allergic reaction to something or she got bit by a spider? Should she see a doctor; and if so, how soon?
I have pictures, but I do not know how to upload them.

If it were me, I'd see a doctor as soon as possible...instead of asking strangers on the Internet. No one can ethically offer medical advice here as it could be more than just a some small allergic reaction. An inexpert opinion is worse than useless when it concerns a potentially serious health issue.
