I was at the end of Netflix and finally caved to The Walking Dead. I didn’t realize it was filmed around my home.

You need to do a bit of tidying up.

@Lash,
Oh good. I like Walking Dead, it's a lot better than Z nation which I stopped seeing after season 1. It is a load of nonsense but most SF/Horror films are. GofT is just as daft.

Talking of which I'm rewatching it with my youngest and there's lots of little stuff I didn't notice first time. In one of the first episodes Daenerys' brother is told about the faceless men. When Bran passes through the wall he talks of the rat cook, a former member of the Night's Watch who feeds the king his children in a pie, who is then cursed to eat only his own children for all eternity and never feel full. The next shot is of Walder Frey.

I must admit by the time Arya had got to Walder I'd forgotten all about it.

@izzythepush,
How do you feel about GoT making you wait over a year before seeing Season 8?

@snood,
Not as bad as I feel about Mr Martin making us wait years before the next book.

Not sure if I’ve mentioned it here previously.

Stephen Fry in America. On Netflix.

I adore Fry, and now I love him even more. I’ve only seen three episodes, but his impressions, his kind personal perspective, is like a Bourdain.

He’s visiting each state, and he encounters plenty of events and people others might mock, but he’s looking for interest and character. Judgment is not apparent.

His emotional reaction to moments at the Alabama/Auburn game was overwhelming to me. It’s so funny. It’s been a long time since I’ve experienced any natural upswell of national or religious belonging during these patriotic moments at sporting events, but I’ll be damned if seeing it through Fry’s eyes wasn’t effective.

I’m enjoying.

Over the last three years starting back in 2014, (Z Nation) has been my favorite tv show.
(Z Nation) is currently in its fourth and final season.

My new favorite show is called (The Brave).
(The Brave) just started its first season a couple of months ago.
