Whew. After watching Bill on television last night, I believe he could have gotten a third term, if a third term were legal. What do you think?

Yeah, actually I think he coulda. But I don't know if he could now, after the "insanification' of the country under Bush. I know I wouldn't mind if he did!

The golden oratory of Clinton could get him elected to any position he aspired to. The Pope better watch out. Laughing Laughing

I was talking about his anemic campaign in 2000 where he kept Clinton at a distance...

I missed Gore's speech last night, but from what I heard it was entertaining.

But Gore should have been able to win (more decisively) in 2000.

Did anyone else notice how good Clinton looked? I think he had a facelift or at least botox....

Gore ran a very poor campaign in 2000. Bush did not win, Gore lost. IMO His biggest blunder was cutting ties with Clinton.

Drop twenty-five pounds and get plenty of rest. And maybe, just maybe, a little help around the eyes.

Swear to god the man looked 20 years younger. Must have a new girlfriend. That would explain the youthful glow

I agree with au and brown that Gore alone cost himself the presidency. His campaign was very dumb.

Gotta tell this...
Pres. Clinton was in town last week autographing his book. I forgot the date and missed out, still smarting about it too, but anyway a friend of mine went, camped outside the bookstore at 6am, Clinton & Co showed up early afternoon, my friend stepped up to the table and as he autographed her book, she said "thank you Mr. President" and was about to move away when he looked up at her. "Thank you for buying my book. I hope you enjoy it." And then he smiled and she froze, like a doe in headlights until one of the store employees 'invited' her?-"ma'am...uh, ma'am..." to move along.
She'd been completely dazzled. Laughing

Yes Edgar. As close as Gore came, Clinton would have won a third... and if he were eligible right now he'd be 30 seconds of Sax-time away from returning to the oval office. He wouldn't get my vote, but I think he'd win in a landslide.
