Not what you are personally planning on handing out for Halloween treats, but pick an A2ker and let me know what you think he or she would hand out.
For instance ehBeth would hand out Poutine.
@Linkat,
You would hand out Boston baked beans! The candy kind, of course.
@boomerang,
You would hand out candy locally sourced and of quality.
@hawkeye10,
Being a Washingtonian and a cook I think YOU would hand out beautiful slices of apple pie!
My god, have you tasted the apples this year? Heaven!
@boomerang,
Only what I have robbed from the neighbors tree (they dont eat them). Pretty good so far. Very odd summer this year, almost 4 months with very little rain, and the early part was very hot for us.
@boomerang,
omigawd!!! I love those!
probably the best thing about Abuzz ... .the first get together I went to ... I remember being in Salem and being dragged into a CVS (or something similar) to get Lemonheads and Boston Baked Bean candies. so yummy.
longdog still brings me Lemonheads when she visits from Philadelphia ... 15 or 16 years later
@Linkat,
nahhhh
I'd hand out these
you have to hand out things you're willing to share ... and poutine doesn't fall in that category
@boomerang,
boomer's gonna support local entrepeneurs with a good idea
hawkeye's going to package up little squares of these
I do Airheads, and the kids love them. At least it is something different that the Hershey's mini's the most people hand out, or even lower quality crap.
@Linkat,
Linkat's going to make and handout coconut popsicles
ossob is going to make a batch of glazed lemon ricotta cookies
I generally get a couple of slices of bread and cut them into little cubes. Takes time to wrap them individually in aluminum foil and dump them into the large wooden bowl, but by golly, it's worth the effort. Imagine the looks on their little faces when they gather under the street light on the corner and compare their booty.
@roger,
that's not far off what I would have guessed
___
will you be wearing
@ehBeth,
The one I wore was embroidered with the A2K logo.
@boomerang,
Or I could hand out fluffinutters....aka peanut and fluff sandwiches - fluff is made here in Boston.
@Linkat,
Slappy said it was made in "Lynn, Lynn, city of sin"
@roger,
Yes - but unless you are from this region you would be unfamilar with Lynn.
