At this point here in Oregon they're still at the "good, better, premium" stage, with premium at $10, the others down at $6 to $8. Oregon wants THC content listed and the premium at the store I copped at was at about 20%. There is no sales tax in Oregon but the state collects a "pot" tax from the growers and has some sort of license fee from the shops.

How do you write so clearly about hemp and its sales structure in Washington and so abysmally about women and teabilly politics?

They were going to open some "smokers clubs" in Colorado, but the law hadn't even considered that when it was written, so there's a voluntary "moratorium" while the state figures it out. Its not against the law but there are no regulations.

What tax rate are they charging out there? Here in CO, we are seeing any where from 20-33%, depending on the city.

For the consumers there is no sales or "users" tax. It comes from the venders in their permitting fees and from fees and taxing of the growers.

Oregon has no sales tax for the public.

I'm told (by a couple of Tea Partyiers - and even you know that they hold onto their misconceptions as hard as they do their "beliefs") that the state income tax is "high". None of my retirement is taxable and my wife retired on her CIA pension long enough ago that a small portion of her income (about 10%) of it is taxable for a bill of $300.00 a year.
