That guy is awesome. Rarely do I agree with the Republican stance on alot of things, but I would have LOVED for him to be the president of this country instead of that dolt Bush.
No way would he be V.P. to Bush. He would eclipse Bush in every regard.

Looking at the past 50 years (at least), I'd say that's pretty complimentary.
Given his ideological consistency (with most of which i do not agree), his probity, his integrity and his willingness to take a publicly unusual or unpopular position based upon conviction, i agree completely with PD's assessment.
