I contracted a freight forwarder to ship my personal effects from Doha to Zagreb door to port. I asked for a quote for Doha Zagreb and assumed that the shipment would go to the hard port in Zagreb, where I would clear it and collect. The forwarder sent the BoL only to Rijeka 200km away claiming it's the nearest port.Am I stuck with having to pay to transport my cargo to Zagreb by road? The forwarder refuses to redirect the shipment claiming that their quote was only for sea not land transport.

"claiming that their quote was only for sea not land transport."

Did you get the quote IN WRITING that indicated a final delivery destination?

@PUNKEY,
Yes I did. They are claiming that this is the closest port to zagreb.

What now? How do I enforce the quote? I paid them already as seems to be the norm with forwarders. They can just walk away, they have the money the stuff is on the boat.
